Full Name: Ruby Camila Braun
Nicknames: RJ, Cami—never Ruby.
Birthday: May 27th, 1991
History: "My background? Well... I have a mother, a father, an annoying little brother—two step siblings and then... there's Robert."[/i]
On the night of August 28th, Isobel and Martin Braun expected their first baby girl into the world. A healthy baby girl they later named Ruby Camilla, after her mother’s mother. She was then welcomed to this warm, loving picture-perfect family. Her mother is great, father’s a hard-working man to bring home the bacon—a padre de pamilya, if you must. And in about two years later had they welcomed another child of their own in the world, a baby boy they named Cole. Of course Cami didn't knew it back then, but Cole was the one who always took care of his big sister rather than her taking care of him.
But behind those façade, her mother and father always fought—Camila as a child, didn’t know the reason behind their fights, much more less her brother. Years passed by, when Camila was aged 4, Martin seemed to have enough of his wife, left and filed for a divorce. Her mother, seemed fine with it, despite hearing her children’s cries and pleas for them “not to fight anymore.” It was then by that time that Camila turned to abhor her mother—in her heart and mind, it was her mother that tore their family apart and ruined her chance to live a happy simple childhood and life. In reality however, it was actually her mother who had kept the family all together all these years. Her husband was the only one who would make it seem otherwise. Cami's younger brother had understood this and for quite awhile he had attempted to make Cami see it, but after quite a while, he did gave up trying to reason with her.
Her teenage life was pretty much smooth sailing. Most of the time anyway. Okay, fine. She had the awkward stages. Who didn’t? Midway into entering grade school; her mother had found a man to marry: Robert Turner. Someone handsome, brilliant, and rich. Never mind about the first few descriptions, all that matters is that he’s rich. He was exactly what Isobel had in mind, Robert was rich and was a CEO of a world-renowned company—thus they could travel anywhere they want; it wasn't also half bad that the man was head over heels with their mother. If you think by then Cami and her family had already found their 'happily ever after'; then you're both wrong and right.
For Isobel, it was great. Life was going to be a breeze now for her. No more working late shifts, no more waitressing at different venues, and no more jobs. She could finally be the home mother she was again. Something she had learned to lose the day that her husband up and left the family. Now, no more eviction notices or any type of rejection at all. They'd finally be the happy “able” family again. However, her daughter just don't appreciate the idea that they have to depend on being tied to Robert Turner's family just so that they'd be deemed... well, "able". For Cami, she hated the fact that they have to travel. Nope, not that she didn't like traveling; but she doesn't like changing homes. But what can she do? Parents always have the last word right.
A few months after her mother and Robert got hitched, they moved from San Francisco to a much more homey place in Rockwell, New Mexico, where Robert Turner resided and works. For a while, Cami was the one who always complained about everything. She became quite an introvert actually, at school she would socialize, but nothing that would give away too much. At home, she usually find herself in her room, sleeping or watching some old movies as they became her refugee for a short while. And then had she met "that Riot kid!" It turns out the kid also goes to her school, and conveniently lives near by their home too. It was a shaky start, since Cami had quite disliked the guy, but after a while, they have began to settle their differences and Camila found her best friend in him—of all people. After meeting said person, her life didn't expectedly go better like a fairytale. But it was getting better. She found more excuses not staying at home because of Nathan Riot and some few other friends; and there are even weeks where her mother wouldn't see her daughter anymore. Which really don't matter to Cami, but for Isobel it does.

General Personality:
Obviously, by the things you've already heard about Cami; you could already see what type of person she would be. One of those preppy uptight girls in high school, with their heads up in the sky and their ambitions, as they think, is purely just a piece of cake to achieve. What with their financial status and all. Though she doesn't stray too far from that particular stereotype; it wasn't her fault that it was the impression she gives people. Cami is kind, friendly and generous...mostsome of the time anyway. At least, it's the side that comes out to those closest to her. For this girl, it all rather comes down to trust. Doesn't matter whether she's very comfortable hanging around with you, there's still some part of her that keeps herself from a leash. Expect hardcore loyalty from this girl; because once you've got it, it would break her heart for you to break it.
She's also quite a socialite. In a new environment Cami would be the first to greet and talk to you. She's the type that doesn't like silence that much (as it would instantly translate to awkwardness for her) so expect her to be a talker. Camila’s the type that would talk and talk nonsense until the other person would find something to relate with. It's not that she wears her heart on her sleeve, nope, she's not exactly like that. But rather, has the habit of those girls that speaks before she thinks; it's one of the things that she very much dislike about herself. As it often leads her either to disaster... or humiliation.
Now, most people have categorized Camila as one of those people that have their heads up their asses. (Out of a much more appropriate term, I guess.) As people around her can easily tell, she’s not like that at all. Granted, when she talks—it’s usually about herself. All me, me, and more me! But in reality, she’s just as insecure as the next kid. Maybe even more so. Figures right? She’s in the ‘envious’ clique. She can get really obsessed and possessive about something, and meanwhile that really isn’t her fault, it had became such a great hindrance when she wants to build friendships with other people. Others would find her too much for their liking.
Often thinking of what might happen next, and the possibilities that could happen later. You could count Cami as one of those high-strung persons. She doesn't like surprises, as it often scared her. Either that or she gets her hopes up. And in her experience, she learned not to like being hopeful. Quite cynical of her so, but it's true. She's generally a nice person when you meet her, unless of course you mess with her. Cami is pretty easily irritated – moody if you will – so if you want to annoy her, it's better if you stay out of her path. She knows how to hold grudges well. Cami could forgive incidents, but never forget. Overall, she's pretty normal. She's just one of those girls that wants to endure high school and escape safely.
